A. For Most of our items, YES! We ship to all 50 states AND Canada. If you need an item shipped to another country, email us and we will get you a shipping quote. We understand that sometimes financial situations can change without warning. EMAIL US right away if you need to cancel an order. Orders including exhaust systems and/or headers cannot be cancelled because they are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Q. Yes, we do ship most items to these destinations, but we are not responsible for loss or damage during shipping. We cannot ship exhaust products to these destination. Ordering Q. Your information is always 100% secure with our encrypted payment processor (SecurePay), but we understand that many people would rather not use their credit card for online purchases. Why don't you list a telephone number on your site? How can I get in touch with you? A. We are an internet-based retailer, we do not offer telephone support. You can always get in touch with us via email and your questions will be answered, usually the same day. We answer emails during the hours of 10am-7pm, Monday through Friday. Installation Q. My car is equipped with factory RAM AIR... what happens to that when I order one of your intakes? A. The concept of Ram Air is great and in theory, it is ideal. However, the factory "RAM AIR" system on the Grand Am is full of tight bends and restrictions. ALL of our intakes are designed to completely REPLACE your factory setup. This will give you MORE POWER, even if you previously had "RAM AIR". Q. How much does installation cost for your products? A. This is a tough question to answer because every shop's rate is different. Installation of the one of our intake systems can be as low as $50, depending on what your local shop charges per hour of labor. Installation of headers can cost anywhere from $500-$950. Your best bet would be to talk to a few of your local mechanics/auto shops and get installation quotes to find the best deal. Q. How hard is it to install your products? Can I install them myself? A. This depends on your skill level and ability to dissassemble and reassemble various engine parts. Items such as our Stage 2 intake and spark plug wires can be installed by most beginners in about an hour. Professional installation is recommended for our engine components and exhaust products. Remember: It's your decision! If you are uncomfortable with installation, or simply unfamiliar with engine parts and their functions, we recommend that you seek professional installation. This can give you the peace of mind in knowing that the install was done properly. It will also ensure that no potentially hazardous complications will arise due to improper installation. Other FAQ's Q. I've never heard of Doctor Speed. Are you guys for real? A. As real as it gets. We've been in business since early 2003, when I (Kyle) started making Grand Am intakes to fill a starving market of Grand Am enthusiasts. We are most widely known in the Grand Am aftermarket community, only recently expanding into other vehicle markets. Q. How much horsepower can I expect to gain from your products? A. This depends greatly on your vehicle and any existing modifications. If a completely stock Grand Am was outfitted with every one of our items, there would be a solid gain of approximately 45 horsepower. Q. Do you offer warranty service or refunds on your products? A. If you receive a defective item, contact us immediately and we will replace it at NO CHARGE to you. EMAIL US for questions about warranty issues and be sure to include the item you are asking about. We do insure our shipments and any shipping damage will be dealt with by us. If you receive an item that was damaged during shipment, you MUST report it to us within 24 hours of delivery.
